Dynamic Resource Allocation

Markets for Dynamic Computational Resources

I look at markets where buyers and sellers/resources come and go over time.  A contrary example is eBay: to sell a good, the second price auction requires all bids are submitted at a set time.  But in applications like sharing a private cloud or an display ad slot, we need new auction mechanisms that don’t really “end” but can run on-demand.
