Bio

Chaki Ng is an interaction technologist and entrepreneur.  As a technologist, Chaki focuses on interaction design for multi-user, multi-resource scenarios.  His doctoral thesis examines interactions among strategic users and novel auction and virtual currency mechanisms for allocating dynamic resources like cloud/grid servers, sensor networks, and display advertising.  

For over 16 years, Chaki led development of various award-winning and multi-million revenue interactive educational products, such as Read180, for top publishing companies including Pearson, Scholastic, and Harcourt.  Chaki co-founded Interactive Constructs, Inc. (ICI), which bootstrapped and grew to 70 employees, USD 10M+ annual revenue, and developed an enterprise publishing platform in Lycea.  He led the strategic acquisition of ICI by Follett Corporation for significant shareholder returns.

Chaki loves schools and holds PhD and SM (Harvard), MBA (MIT Sloan), and BS (Northeastern) degrees and may get more.
